We received the most amazing news yesterday and it’s taken me a bit of time to process, Liam’s oncologist told us yesterday that although she loves to see us, Liam’s tests have been so good that his chance of reoccurrence is 0%. Therefore no more Oncology visits for us! We are free! I still don’t think the full impact of this has sunk in. I just know that we are forever grateful for every single one of you that have taken this journey with us, whether it was a prayer, a meal, raising money, or just simply showing you cared. There are not enough words to express our gratitude. Not a day will go by that I don’t see Liam as our miracle because I know this disease doesn’t discriminate and the outcome could of been very different. Thank you All from the bottom of our hearts 💛

I can hardly believe it’s been two years since his diagnosis! This kid has come so far! 3” and 4 lbs since last check in, his tests and scans are all clear and we have graduated to yearly scans! So many exciting things ahead ♥️

Ultrasound and Bloods look great! We get to move to 6 month appointments! Yayyy ❤️

We are here for our 3 month scan! So much has changed in the past few months, new state, new Doctors and new hospital to navigate as well as new procedures to follow for his condition! We have graduated to ultra sound instead of CT, it went smoothly! Now just waiting for results and to meet our new Dr.
As long as everything checks out we move to 6 month appointments!

Today is Neuroblastoma Awareness Day - marking the start of our Awareness Week. We chose the 2nd day of the 2nd month, as the number 2 is key to raising awareness.

Fact 1

2 is the average age of diagnosis across all the children diagnosed. Often people don't realise but young children get cancer too! One key difference to adult cancer is children receive far less research funding (less than 10% of Government cancer research fund goes to children). We will be sharing other facts about neuroblastoma children’s cancer as part of our campaign to highlight lack of funding for rare toddler cancer neuroblastoma.
