Hello all! My name is Meg Quint (they/them), Diagnosis Q***r’s new Executive Director! As shared yesterday, residency demands a lot of time and dedication. We are grateful that Nick will still be involved in whatever capacity possible! I have big shoes to fill!

Where Dx:Q is headed: Over the next couple of months, we will begin regrouping our past and recruiting new volunteers, identifying roles, establish longer-term sustainable funding, and setting a strategic plan. We would LOVE to hear more from you all on what you would like to see from Dx:Q and what gaps YOU need us to fill! Drop a comment or send us a DM if you have particular ideas you’d like us to consider during our strategic planning process! Potential new volunteers, especially with graphic design experience, are welcome to DM. We will put out a formal call soon!

About me: I am incoming medical student at Stanford School of Medicine with experience in transgender health research. I am a white, non-binary/genderq***r/gender-fluid person living with chronic illnesses. I’ve been with Dx:Q since our very early days, and I’m excited to see where we head next. Thank you all for your grace and compassion as I learn how to build and run a non-profit. I am beyond committed to ensure Dx:Q stays community centered and meets community needs. If there’s something we can be doing better or a hole we can fill, always feel free to reach out ❤️

Here’s to an exciting new chapter at Dx:Q!!

A message from our founder: “Hello everyone!! As you might have noticed, Diagnosis Q***r has been less active this year. This is because we have had, and continue to have, many changes within the organization. And right now I’d like to announce one of these changes to you all.

I will be stepping away from the position of Executive Director and Dx:Q will immediately begin the transition to my successor: Meg Quint. As I begin my career as a doctor, it is important to me that my time and attention be focused on my patients and my continued training.

Dx:Q was a dream on a notebook three years ago, and I could have never imagined our growth or our impact over such a short amount of time. However, in order for our impact and mission to strengthen, this organization requires leadership that I cannot give at this time.

The person I have chosen to take my place, is someone who I trust with my life…and someday you might too. Meg Quint is a medical student at Stanford University and dear dear friend of mine. They have been with Dx:Q since the inception of our incorporation and have helped to shape this organization into what it is today. I am confident that Meg will not only continue to strengthen our mission…but allow Dx:Q to become something even more. Meg Quint is reliable, unbelievably hard working, endlessly compassionate, and a fierce FEIRCE advocate for q***r folks everywhere. I wish them the best of luck and look forward to support them as a more peripheral member of the organization.

Thank you to everyone over the years who has supported me, this organization, and it’s future. Your love, your donations, your insta shares and Pride attendance…ALL OF IT! It has all filled my soul in ways that you can’t imagine. To my team…thank you for volunteering your time to allow us to do what we do! You are the core and the thumping heart of Dx:Q. I love you all. Most importantly…thank you to all of our story tellers. Without you…your bravery and willingness to be vulnerable…this organization wouldn’t be possible.

This has been the experience of a lifetime, and I am excited to see where Dx:Q goes from here. Peace and Love to you all friends!!!
-Nick ❤️

~Let us open our hearts and hug their souls in ways their bodies weren’t~

~Today…Make sure to be kinder to our siblings who live on in their memory. Powerful representations of transgender resilience~
