NOTICE - Traffic pattern change at SR 295 (Bridge Street) and SR 65 (River Road) in Grand Rapids, Ohio effective 12/23/2025

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - (Tuesday, December 16, 2025) The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), in partnership with the Village of Grand Rapids, Ohio, is improving safety at the intersection of State Route 65 and State Route 295 in Grand Rapids.

Maintenance forces will convert the intersection of State Route 65 at State Route 295 from the existing 2-way stop to a 4-way/all-way stop on Tuesday, December 23.

The purpose for the change is to improve safety and address a crash trend at the intersection in which the most common type of crash was the result of drivers failing to yield to cross-traffic that was not required to stop.

Message boards are posted at each of the approaches to the intersection. Motorists are reminded of the need for additional caution through the intersection after the change is implemented.

Don’t forget friendships need maintenance.

You’re not just getting a coffee, you’re connecting hearts. You’re not just texting, you’re being a part of each other’s lives. You’re not just showing up for a party, you’re letting them know they matter. You’re not just spending a couple hours by the pool, you’re building history together. You’re not just buying that gift, you’re showing them you love them.

It’s not just big things, it’s the little things over time that build deep friendship.

Love,
Jess
