Finding Light in the Storm
Even in the hardest seasons, there’s always something, no matter how small, to be thankful for. 💜

A kind word. A deep breath. A sunrise that reminds you the world keeps turning.

Gratitude doesn’t erase the struggle, but it gives us the strength to keep going. ✨

What’s one thing you’re thankful for right now?

🧠💖 Your Mind & Body Are a Team
What you think, feel, and believe doesn’t just stay in your head, it ripples through your whole body. Stress can tighten your muscles. Joy can boost your immunity.
A healthy body can lift your mood, and a peaceful mind can help your body heal.

✨ Nourish both.

✨ Rest both.

✨ Love both.

Because when one thrives, the other follows. 🌿

✨This month's Staff Spotlight: Stephanie D., Recovery Technician at Lyon. Thank you for all your dedication, compassion and enthusiasm to Our Hope and to every client that walks through our doors. We are so blessed to have Stephanie on our team! ✨
Why do you enjoy working with women or in the recovery community?
I enjoy working with women because I think our biggest joys come from how regularly we spend time with other powerful and strong women. We, as humans, love to connect and are social beings and I love being witness to our women opening up and navigating girlhood together in the recovery community.

What do you bring to Our Hope?
I bring a lens of working with the education field and navigating social and emotional learning skills for students. Although I am more used to working with youth services, I bring a creative and positive way to engage in group learning with my background in criminal justice. I have previously mentored adolescents who struggle with addiction in their communities and families and how that disrupts their education and development.

What is one fun fact about you?
When I was 9 years old, I got on the front page of the Cadillac newspaper for surviving a rainstorm while camping with my family. You can look it up; it's probably from 2008 or something. I am also part of the Documenter's program with The Rapidian, which means I get to show up to public meetings in our local government and collect raw journalism.

Anything else you’d like to add?
I am really grateful I get to show up authentically myself and encourage women to be their best selves and show up authentically too!

You’ve carried yourself through every challenge you thought you couldn’t survive.
You’ve made choices without knowing the outcome and still found your way.
Your intuition is your compass; your courage is your fuel.
The moment you believe in your own voice, the world starts to listen. 💫

Sobriety isn’t just a choice you made once, it’s a promise you keep every single day. Some days it feels effortless, other days it’s a fight. But every morning you wake up and choose yourself, you’re building a life you don’t need to escape from. Show up for your peace. Show up for your healing. Show up for the version of you who believed this was possible.

One day at a time. Always worth it. 💜

💜 Gratitude is the best medicine.

It doesn’t erase the hard moments, but it softens them.
It helps the heart heal, shifts perspective, and reminds us of the good that still exists, even on tough days.

A thankful mind creates space for peace, strength, and hope. ✨

You matter.
Your story matters.
Your life matters.

If you’re struggling, please know this: you are not alone. There are people who care, who will listen, and who want to help.

Help is available. Support is real. Healing is possible.

Reaching out can feel hard, but it can also be the first step toward something better. 💜
