When the NFL starts sharing 988 💔

Because every life matters!

The NFL sent a memo to all teams Friday, asking them to hold a moment of silence Sunday as part of the pre-game ceremonies in memory of the late Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland.

The moment of silence will be followed by a message read in all NFL stadiums that says, If you or someone you know is struggling or needs emotional support, please call or text 988. The Su***de and Crisis Lifeline is available 24-7 to help.

24 years old. With a girlfriend frantically contacting police after receiving a goodbye text.

We have to do better. It’s Men’s Health Awareness Month. This is why.

Men need places to feel. To heal. To not be ok.

The world can attack the Cowboys for their season this year. What else do these men have going on off the field?

24 - some of these players are still growing up! In front of the entire world and all of the critiques and judgments.

Losses on the field -
Whatever each individual has going on personally….
And now this.

It’s too much.

Sending love to the entire Kneeland family, the Dallas Cowboys Family, the NFL - and to everyone ever impacted by su***de.

S**t Happens Before the Shift Happens.

I woke up to a message from Christian McElwee Sr. about BMOR Offshore Racing’s Boat. They’ve worked all year to compete for this World Title -

and life is lifeing. Please support and consider getting some of their swag. Their mission and message matter - and you’ll definitely see them back out next year.

They didn’t turn around and go home. They’re cheering everyone else on and showing their support - because that’s who they are!!

We came to Key West with the intention of battling for a World 🌎 Title, but instead we hurt the Port Motor beyond repair while in the boat. You just sit in a chair all day.

I may not do heavy physical labor, but what I do is mentally exhausting. I currently have 4 active cases involved with child protective services. I have 2 active custody cases and I don’t want to count how many marital / divorce couples I’m seeing.

That doesn’t get to my clients dealing with grief, depression, ptsd, suicidal thoughts…..

I do anything but just sit in a chair all day! Mental Health Matters!!
