It’s Pulmonary Rehabilitation Week! 💙

At Minnie Hamilton Health System, we are proud to recognize Pulmonary Rehabilitation Week and the incredible impact pulmonary rehab has on the lives of our patients.

Pulmonary rehabilitation helps individuals living with lung conditions such as COPD, asthma, and other respiratory illnesses improve their breathing, increase strength and endurance, and regain confidence in their daily activities. Our dedicated team works closely with patients to provide education, exercise training, and support to help them breathe easier and live healthier lives.

We are grateful for our pulmonary rehab staff and the commitment they show every day to helping our community take control of their lung health.

Minnie Hamilton Health System recently participated in the Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center Career Fair, where we had the opportunity to connect with students and share information about careers in healthcare.

Our team enjoyed speaking with students about the many rewarding paths available in the healthcare field—from clinical roles to support and administrative positions. It was great to see so many students interested in learning more about how they can make a difference in their communities through healthcare careers.

We’re proud to share that Minnie Hamilton Health System recently gave away a couple of carbon monoxide detectors to patients in our community to help keep their homes safe. ❤️

Carbon monoxide is colorless, odorless, and dangerous — having a working detector can truly save lives. We’re grateful for the opportunity to not only care for our patients inside our facilities, but to help protect them at home as well.

Small actions can make a big difference in the safety and well-being of our community. 💙
