Lucas slept late yesterday and woke up with a lot of nausea. He threw up off and on all day yesterday and didn’t eat all day except a few bites of peas.
He was so excited to get to camp sunshine tho and it’s all he talked about.
We got here yesterday evening and he was fine up until time for dinner. He drank some tea but still didn’t feel like trying to eat anything.
He threw up all of his tea and then was miserable. We left the big kids to hang out and I brought Lucas back to our cabin. He cried for a bit then snuggled me and fell asleep.
I’m praying he will wake up today feeling much better.

Port study went good. They said everything looks fine. His port is just tired of working I guess. We are at CHOPS waiting for LP.
Sweet boy has done so good and been mostly patient. He’s just so hungry. 😂😩
Thanks everyone for checking in on him and Jay's HOPE Foundation for his door dash gift card! He said he wants grilled chicken, sweet tea, a cookie and a brownie waiting for him when he wakes up.

Lucas is in the ER with Daddy. He hasn’t been feeling great today, but started running a fever tonight. It got up to 103 in the ER. He is getting antibiotics right now and waiting on test results.

Lucas got back home this morning around 8:30. He received a round of antibiotics and the doc on call said he would review his numbers and tests and let us know if we need to come back for another round of antibiotics tomorrow. Appreciate all the prayers!

Lucas has had an on and off rough week this week with a stomach bug, but started running a fever thru the night. He is en route to the ER with Daddy. Hopefully his counts are good and he will have a quick visit, but Dr. said if his counts are bottomed out to pack a bag.
He’s feeling awful, and has been vomiting thru the night, but already planning for a sweet tea “dewivery” 🥹😔
Keep him in your prayers this morning that he has a smooth visit.

Teachers and school administrators are often times the first to hear about a newly diagnosed kiddo. Our Hats 4 HOPE program sponsored by Walsh Honda raises funding and awareness of our services in the community. 💚💛💙

How does it work?
- The school picks a Hats 4 HOPE date. We deliver all the supplies.
- On Hats 4 HOPE Day, students donate a dollar to Jay's HOPE to wear a hat to school.
- They get a sticker to show their support for local childhood cancer families.
