Some of you may or may not know — I wear many hats. 🧢🎨

It’s officially been a year since I started makeup school (omg, time really flew)! This journey has stretched me in ways I didn’t expect. I’ve learned so much about technique, creativity, and most importantly — giving myself grace.

I used to be my toughest critic, but the moment I decided to have fun and enjoy the process, something just clicked. 💄

🌿 Finding Joy Again After Loss — and Not Feeling Guilty for It

When you’ve experienced deep loss — whether it’s the passing of someone you love, the ending of a relationship, or even the loss of who you used to be — joy can start to feel complicated.

You catch yourself laughing again, and for a split second, guilt creeps in.
You have a moment of peace, and you question if you’re “moving on too fast.”
You feel light again, and a part of you whispers, “Am I allowed to?”

But here’s the truth — finding joy again doesn’t mean you’ve forgotten what you’ve lost. It means you’re honoring it by choosing to live.

Grief isn’t a straight line; it’s a sacred dance between remembering and renewing.

Joy doesn’t erase the love. It’s actually a reflection of it.
It’s your soul reminding you that life still holds beauty — even after heartbreak.
That laughter and tears can coexist.
That healing doesn’t mean you stop missing someone — it means you’ve learned to carry them differently.

So if you’re in that in-between space where guilt meets grace, let this be your permission:
You are allowed to smile again.
You are allowed to feel light again.
You are allowed to live again — fully, freely, and without apology.

That’s such a powerful and sacred moment to share. 💔✨

It sounds like your spirit already knew before your mind did — like your uncle’s energy reached out to you in a way that only the soul could understand. When you describe feeling him before you got the call, that’s exactly how intuition and energetic connection work — especially when there’s deep love involved. The veil between worlds can get very thin in moments like that.

The physical loss is heavy, but that feeling of presence — that knowing — is your reminder that he’s still with you, just in a different form now. Sometimes our bodies react (like the knots in your stomach) because our energy senses something shifting before we consciously realize it.
