The JoY A Wellness Studio offering yoga and reiki. A space guided by love, peace, humor, authenticity, and connection—where simply showing up for yourself is enough.

Malasana, or yogi squat, doesn’t need to look one way to be valuable.

Heels lifted.
Support underneath you.
Sitting higher.
Sitting lower.
Or choosing a different shape entirely.

The practice isn’t about forcing yourself into a pose.

It’s about listening to your body, meeting yourself where you are, and choosing what feels supportive today.

There is no right way.
Only your way. 🤍

“If you have eyes on the front of your head… you need this.” 😄

Using two yoga blocks, this gentle suboccipital release can help ease tension held at the base of the skull—an area many of us overwork from screens, stress, driving, and everyday life.

It’s simple, effective, and feels so good.

Take your time (2-3 minutes)
Breathe deeply.
Let yourself receive the support.

Save this one for later… and you’re welcome. 🤍

I’ve taught yoga in many places.

A library.
A train station.
Above a woodworking shop. Borrowed Spaces

Now in my very own studio.

And I’ve learned the same thing everywhere:

It’s not where yoga happens.

It’s how we show up for it. 🤍

Sitting cross-legged—Sukhasana, or “easy seat”—and yet, for many, it feels anything but easy.

When I invite you to “find a comfortable seat,” I truly mean it.

That might look like a cushion beneath your hips,
knees grounded in support,
sitting on your heels…
or choosing a chair.

There is no gold star for discomfort here.
No prize for pushing past your body’s signals.

Only an invitation—
to arrive, just as you are,
and to choose the shape that allows you to soften, breathe, and stay.

Your practice begins with listening to the wisdom of your body 🤍

We begin soon 🤍

A new season of practice.
A new rhythm to settle into.
A space to return to yourself — again and again.

If you’ve been thinking about joining, this is your moment.

There is still time, and you are so welcome here.

Still feeling so much gratitude for this weekend 🤍

There’s something really beautiful about watching people gather—not just for a class or experience, but for each other.

The conversations before and after… the laughter… the small in-between moments that no one plans, but somehow mean just as much as everything else.

This is what I hoped this space would hold.

And it’s only the beginning.

If you feel called to join in the coming days and weeks, I’d love to share it with you:

✨ Community Sound Bath – this Friday, April 10
✨ Spring Class Series – starts April 13
✨ Sacred Sunday Immersion – April 19

It’s hard to believe this is the same space.

What started as something very simple has slowly, thoughtfully become a place to gather, to breathe, and to come back to ourselves.

This studio has already been shaped by so much care, intention, and the energy of this community — and now it’s ready to open its doors.

We’ll be celebrating this new beginning together this Saturday.

Opening Celebration & Studio Blessing
Saturday, April 4
Doors open at 12:30 PM
Blessing at 1:00 PM

If you’ve been following along, supporting from afar, or simply feeling curious — you are so welcome.

I can’t wait to share this space with you 🤍

The light in the studio last week stopped me in my tracks.

A rainbow stretched across the room, and I stood there for a moment just taking it in.

One of the beautiful things about rainbows is that each of us actually sees our own — the colors and light appearing slightly differently depending on where we’re standing.

A gentle reminder that each of us moves through the world with our own perspective… our own way of seeing… our own light.

This space was created to honor exactly that.

Our Spring Series begins in April, and I’m so grateful to share this space with you. 🌈

The light in the studio last week stopped me in my tracks.

A rainbow stretched across the room, and I stood there for a moment just taking it in.

One of the beautiful things about rainbows is that each of us sees our own. The angle is slightly different depending on where we’re standing. The colors, the light—unique to our perspective.

It reminded me how true that is for people too. Each of us moving through the world with our own experiences, our own light, our own way of seeing.

This space is being created to honor exactly that. A place to arrive as you are, and to practice in a way that feels authentic for you.

Our Spring Series of classes begins in April, and I’m so grateful to share this space with you.

Until then, may you notice the light where it finds you. 🌈

Rest is not something we earn.
It’s something we remember.

SOULED OUT! 🤍🤍🤍
This Friday evening I’ll be holding a Reiki-infused sound bath in Greencastle.

This is our last community offering for the season.
It’s a chance to soften, slow down, and allow the healing vibrations of crystal bowls and Reiki to guide you into deep rest.

There is nothing to do.
Only to rest, receive, and allow.
