September is National Su***de Prevention Month. At Canine Miracles for Heroes we work with military veterans and emergency personnel who suffer the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder, pairing them with service dogs who bring comfort, stability, and renewed hope.

We believe every life is a sacred gift, and even in the darkest seasons, God’s light and love will shine through. As we work with each and every military veteran and emergency personnel it is important that we take note of behavior and notice when times are tough for each individual to help them through those dark times.

We pray for strength and healing for those who struggle, remembering that no one fights this battle alone.

The 3rd annual Corn Hole for Heroes, bags tournament and auction was a huge success!!!

Thank you to all who participated and came out on May 10th. Thank you to all the sponsors of this year's event!! Thank you to all of out donors! Thank you to all the boarmembers and volunteers who helped with set up, clean up and everything in-between. We want to say a special thank you to Disability Benefits as the Gold Sponsorship, setting up their booth and participating in the tournament. We would like to to thank Eric Mahoney, Canine Miracles for Heroes board president for speaking. Special thanks to Conerstone Fellowship Church Pastor Mike Norby fir cooking the hambugers this year. Thank you to the Cornerstone Youth Pastor, Josiah and his wife Jessi, and the youth group, who helped serve their community. Thank you to the American Legion Post 265 for presenting the colors. Thank you to Tim Baier, Ted Wallace, and all the auctioneers. We had 16 volunteers, 7 youth volunteers, 32 auction items, and 10 tournament teams.

You all are what keep Canine Miracles for Heroes serving our veterans and emergency personnel suffering the effects of PTSD, and training service dogs for their specific needs. We can not thank you all enough for your giving hearts. ♥️🐕‍🦺🐾
