Joanna Boutzoukas, Lic. Ac., Dipl. OM, MATCM, Board-Certified Herbalist, became interested in natural medicine began during visits to see family in Crete, Greece. Their method of healing and preventative medicine starts in the home β with the food they eat, the medicinal plants wildly growing around the village, and sometimes using cupping therapy (known as vendouzes to them). She studied Biomedical Sciences at USF to lay a foundation of familiarity with western medicine and continued to complete a Masters degree in Acupuncture and TCM in California. She continued her training with an internship in Colorado under acupuncturists and herbalists in practice for 45 years and completing a clinical residency program in Seoul, South Korea.
Emily Hildebrand, Lic. Ac., MSTOM, Board-Certified Herbalist, graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2009 and founded a practice in Chicago where, when she was not working, she soaked up Midwestern living, biking on the nice flat streets, and eating all of the delicious food. Raised in Massachusetts, she moved to Greenfield in 2014 with her husband Ben to be near family, rolling hills, and inspiring community. She pursues post-graduate training in Classical Chinese Herbal Medicine and is passionate about acupuncture and herbal medicine as ways to heal ourselves and our community. She has particular experience and interest in treating anxiety, depression, and pain.
