TAOS, New Mexico is my favorite place on earth. It is the place where I feel most connected to something greater, where I feel a deep peace. It is the place I believe I will retire, it is the place I believe I will be laid to rest. It was the last place I visited before moving to Europe. I so badly needed to ground into that familiar earth once. TAOS is an incredible mix of spirituality, culture, history, and breathtaking natural beauty - don’t even get me started on the food. Full circle, three years later I find myself totally blessed to be on the planning team with of the 2nd annual Taos Mountain Yoga Festival July 24-26, 2020! I could not be more proud to be bringing people to a place that I love all through the lens of ... it’s a family friendly event, With plenty to do for the non-yogis @ an extremely reasonable price point. Full lineup coming soon! Not sure what you’re doing today, but I’m dreaming of TAOS ... please feel free to DM me with any questions ...

Saturday like only your homegirl + a big glass of Prosecco w/no breakfast, can get you to wear white hot shorts on camera. I will also be 40 in 30 days so here we have it. I’m totally in love with my black on black hoodie (part of the Luxe YOGA capsule x a portion of each sale benefitting ! Who says Prosecco is not an acceptable breakfast food on Saturday? Grandma is still not sure about this selfie thing. She is sure who is going to hell and what hell is going to be like. She calls me her chocolate bunny. She is now a widow after 65 years and I am very curious about her reinvention.

MOM | in front of Dutchman’s Market Fredericksburg, TX. We had 3 precious days together, one country road trip from Austin to FBG listening to Patsy Cline, three days sitting vigil and praying over Grandpa, two dinners at Grandma’s which included some very heavy family conversation sprinkled with the incredible laughter the Salinas women are famous for - we use humor to mask the pain which I actually think works to some extent - and
three nights together where we stayed up late listening to the cicadas and the spirits, sharing secrets and crying. We realized there’s a third step in healing, it’s more than just: Forgive + Forget or: I can forgive but I can’t forget. You also have to choose to LET GO.
