As Black History Month is coming to a close, we want to take a moment to first celebrate those with whom we get to share our space with and sweat alongside of here at Greensboro Power Studios 🫶🏼
Here at GPS, we aim to make sure everyone feels the power the move boldly and belong deeply - and we want you to feel that power 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘶𝘴
We also want to highlight someone who has deeply impacted both modern yoga and body image,
Jessamyn’s message challenges us all to reconsider the stories society has taught us to carry about our bodies. She is a fierce advocator for social change, she teaches yoga, speaks publicly worldwide, and represents bodies of color.
As Black History Month comes to a close, and as Eating Disorder Awareness Week is here, Jessamyn’s message is more impactful than ever.
We are thankful for souls like Jessamyn - and all of the amazing souls who walk in and out of our doors each day that represent diversity and challenging the status quo ✨
To everyone who has ever been made to feel less than - for the color of their skin or the size of their body - we see you. You 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 here 🤍
