โœจ 3 Ripe Bananas

โœจ1/3 Cup Plant Butter, melted (or sub. Coconut oil)

โœจ 1 Large Egg, beaten (substitute for Flax egg if Vegan)

โœจ 1 Tsp. Vanilla

โœจ 1 Tsp. Fresh ginger, grated

โœจ 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

โœจ 1/8 Cup Maple Syrup

โœจ 1 1/2 Cup Gluten-Free Flour

โœจ 1/2 Cup Gluten-Free Oats

โœจ 1/2 Tsp. Salt

โœจ 1/4 Tsp. Xanthan gum (omit if your flour contains this!)

๐“˜๐“ท๐“ผ๐“ฝ๐“ป๐“พ๐“ฌ๐“ฝ๐“ฒ๐“ธ๐“ท๐“ผ ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿณ

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

2. Grease and flour a 9 inch loaf pan.

3. Mash overripe bananas in a large bowl.

4. Stir in the melted plant-based butter or coconut oil, egg or flax egg, vanilla and fresh grated ginger.

5. Mix in the brown sugar and maple syrup.

6. In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, salt and oats and xanthan gum (if needed).

7. Combine dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until well incorporated.

8. Pour batter into prepared loaf ban and bake in the oven on the middle rack for 45 minutes - 1 hours.

9. Once bread is golden brown a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean, remove from the oven and cool in the pan for 15 minutes.

10. Remove from the pan and let cool completely on a cooling rack. ๐“ข๐“ต๐“ฒ๐“ฌ๐“ฎ, ๐“ข๐“ฎ๐“ป๐“ฟ๐“ฎ, & ๐“”๐“ท๐“ณ๐“ธ๐”‚! ๐Ÿ˜

Did you know that you can help strengthen your diaphragm through bโƒจrโƒจeโƒจaโƒจtโƒจhโƒจiโƒจnโƒจgโƒจ? ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

This technique is called diaphragmatic breathing therapy or โ€œ๐“ซ๐“ฎ๐“ต๐“ต๐”‚ ๐“ซ๐“ป๐“ฎ๐“ช๐“ฝ๐“ฑ๐“ฒ๐“ท๐“ฐ" and has you focus on breathing through your diaphragm rather than your chest!

Your diaphragm and LES (lower esophageal sphincter) work together to keep harsh stomach acid away from the esophagus. However, when the diaphragm and LES are weakened, stomach acid is more likely to creep up into the esophagus causing a reflux episode! โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ

Ingredients:
1 Sweet Potato
6 oz Tofu
1 cup Rice
ยฝ Avocado
Mixed Greens

Letโ€™s Make It!

โœจCube Sweet Potato, mix in a bowl with a drizzle of olive oil, and add rosemary, thyme, and salt to taste. Roast at 425 for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
โœจSlice and dry 6 oz Tofu (about half a block), coat with Italian dressing and Italian seasoning, fry in a pan until golden brown.
โœจ1 cup Rice - we like Uncle benโ€™s long grain & wild ready rice which cooks in 90 seconds
โœจSlice avocado, chop greens and prepare the sauce (we recommend yogurt feta sauce!)
โœจCombine ingredients on a plate and enjoy!

Ingredients:
1 cup feta, crumbled
1 mashed avocado
1 cup low-fat Greek yogurt (or non-dairy yogurt)
Zest of 1 lemon
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
salt to taste

Letโ€™s Make It!

โœจCombine feta, avocado, yogurt in a large bowl and mix until well blended. Add lemon zest and juice if desired, olive oil, 2 teaspoons parsley, and 2 teaspoons basil. โœจSeason to taste with salt.
โœจTransfer to a serving bowl and garnish with the remaining herbs, a drizzle of olive oil
