Tarot, Truth, & Tough Questions #8: Do people ever try to use tarot to avoid taking responsibility?

Honestly… sometimes, yes.
But here’s the truth: the cards don’t remove your responsibility, they highlight it.

Tarot can reflect patterns, possibilities, and perspectives you may not be seeing clearly. It can nudge you, challenge you, even affirm what you already feel deep down. But it doesn’t make the choice for you.

You still decide.
You still act.
You still live the outcome.

Whether you lean into what the cards are showing you or choose to walk a different path, that choice is yours. Always.

That’s where the real power is.
Not in the cards themselves, but in how you respond to what they reveal.

Tarot is a tool for awareness, not avoidance. A mirror, not an escape.

There are moments when a piece finds you, and you just know it has something to say.

I picked up this fluorite from during at , and it has quietly made its way into my daily meditation and altar practice. Blue, green, and purple all held within one stone, each layer offering something a little different to sit with.

Blue speaks to calm and clarity. It softens the noise and opens space for honest communication, especially the kind we have with ourselves when we slow down enough to listen.

Green carries a steady, grounding energy. It supports the heart, encourages balance, and reminds us that growth does not have to be rushed. There is a natural rhythm to healing.

Purple reaches into intuition and spiritual awareness. It invites connection beyond the surface, helping to deepen insight and strengthen that quiet inner knowing.

Together, this combination in fluorite creates a beautiful companion for meditation. It is a stone that supports clearing the mind while also opening the heart and intuition, allowing thoughts to settle and deeper awareness to rise.

Lately, I have been sitting with it during moments of stillness and placing it on my altar to hold intention. Not as something that “does the work” for me, but as a focal point. A reminder. A steady presence to return to.

If you’ve ever felt drawn to a stone without fully knowing why, trust that pull. Sometimes the connection comes before the understanding.
