Any 80s kids remember those metallic stickers we used to get for doing a good job? That’s what those reminded me of. They have literally nothing to do with the post! 😀

This room is open FOR RENT at the Creative Counseling Institute on Main St. Greensburg. It’s specifically open for mental health professionals, therapists and/or prescribers.
⭐️
Very bright and spacious room. On the second floor so it’s nice and quiet. All utilities included. Safe and secure entrance system for tenants and clients. Waiting area. Very clean! And I promise that the landlord (me, it’s me, Tara) goes above and beyond to make the building as accommodating as it possibly can be! It also smells really good in there too. If you like that kinda stuff.

If you look into the origin & practice of dying eggs there are all sorts of reasons why people color eggs. But it all boils down to the symbolic nature of color. And why would we leave a little egg canvas white?!?

Similarities of making art and going to therapy…

Getting out what’s inside of you.

Learning & understanding the self (art makes this visible).

The more you do the braver you’ll feel.

Learning that mistakes are discoveries that take you somewhere you didn’t expect to go. Accepting that change and making it the best new version it can be.

People, like art, are imperfect.
🫟
In therapy, it is most likely the only time of the week that you will sit with yourself, quietly, for an hour, while someone gives you their undivided attention. Such as your time spent making art.
