I was cleaning some things out and I came across my initial brainstorming ideas for what I would name my business. It made me feel a little emotional being transported back in time, while standing here in the present, thinking how far I’ve come. I still like Light As A Feather Counseling 😉!!

I’m really grateful to share that I’ve completed my training and am now a Certified Grief-Informed Professional. 💚

Grief shows up in so many ways in our lives, not only through death, but through change, loss, endings, and transitions we never expected. This certification reflects my commitment to continuing to learn, grow, and show up more fully for the people I serve.

I’m thankful to everyone who has trusted me with their stories, and to those who continue to walk alongside me in this work. It’s an honor to do what I do. 🌱

Looking back on some things after a long day. The floor mandala, I had such higher hopes of putting effort into that one. Bummer, man. But it wasn’t as fun as I imagined. I’ll probably get back to it some day. 6 of cups is a card of childlike innocence. The gift of play. I think it’s easy as adults to allow the dramas and chores of adulthood to overpower the playful nature that we all desperately need in our lives. 🥀
