Yellow Lab Mix, Nutered Male, 3 years old, 60lbs, Black on Head and Tail.

Zeke was in a vehicle that was hit by a drunk driver on Hwy 5 at the Niangua Bridge near Greenview, MO on 12/2/2022. He escaped the vehicle right after the crash and has been missing from the scene since that night. His owners are not from the area the crash occurred and were transported to the hospital from the crash site. Please do not chase Zeke if you see him, try to get a picture and report as many details (time, exact location, and direction he's headed) through messenger or to Ryan at the phone number listed.

Thank you for all your help. I spoke to the group that has the dog and it is not Zeke. This is a senior dog and not neutered! I appreciate all your support!

Update 3/18/23: Zeke is still missing. We are following a lead of a yellow lab looking dog in the area of 135 and Rt. J. Please do not chase this dog but if anyone can get a better picture or confirm if it is male or female please reach out. Thank you to everyone who continues to help us locate Zeke. ETA: If anyone with a drone is available to help us search some of the woods near this sighting please reach out.

Update 2/16/23: Zeke is still missing. Unfortunately it’s been pretty quiet in camp find Zeke lately. We continue to chase down leads as they come in. Please keep in mind if he has been on his own, his appearance could be very different than any of his pictures. His dark markings including his tail are good markers. Please do not chase him if he doesn’t freely approach. Get a picture if possible and report his exact location and direction he was headed ASAP. As we approach summer it becomes more likely the next sighting will be by a visitor so please continue to share to community groups in the Midwest where people frequent LOZ. We remain hopeful and determined to find him.

Update 1/24/23: Zeke is still missing. Please do not call for or chase Zeke if he does not freely approach. We continue to follow the lead at Osage National but have not received any additional sightings or been able to confirm this is Zeke. If you live in the area please continue to review security and game camera footage and report sightings with detailed location and time as soon as possible. Though we have been in constant contact with Zeke’s family all along and his parents are still taking things day by day we are excited to share Zeke’s mom has been able to join our active search group!

We are unable to confirm or rule out if the pup near Osage National Golf course is Zeke or not. Please do not chase or call at this pup. If you can confirm if it is male or female without disturbing it and get additional pictures and report exact location and direction it is headed we will continue to monitor if it is Zeke or not. Thank you to all that continue to watch for him.

Zeke’s family is offering a $500 reward to anyone with information leading to his safe return. Please do not chase him if he doesn’t freely approach. Get a picture if your able and report exact location and direction he is headed. The reward will be given to anyone with information on his whereabouts that leads to him making it home or any lead which results in his return.

Update 1/9/2023: Zeke is still missing. We continue to review and investigate all leads we are given and appreciate them all. Please keep in mind if he has been on his own, his appearance could be very different than any of his pictures. His dark markings including his tail are good markers. We have many visitors at LOZ so we continue to believe he could be anywhere in the Midwest. Please continue to share. We remain hopeful and determined to find him.

Thank you to everyone watching for Zeke. The pup at Lake Hills Clinic unfortunately is not him. We hope this beautiful pup finds his people soon.

Update 12/26/2022: Zeke is still missing. Despite all our prayers and thoughts to bring Zeke home, we were unable to deliver a Christmas miracle to his family. We are hopeful he has either found a home who is not yet aware he is missing or found a warm den to weather the storm. Please continue to share, we remain hopeful we just haven’t yet reached the person who has the information to bring him home.

Update 12/17/22: Unfortunately, Zeke is still missing. We would like to give a huge thank you to Lake Printing for printing flyers for us in bulk. Please consider supporting the small businesses that support our community if you have printing needs and show them some love by sharing this post locally. We did receive some pictures of a dog that closely resembled Zeke in the Bennet Springs area a few days ago but were unable to confirm if it was Zeke and have not received any further sightings. If you are in groups for the Lebanon/Bennet springs area we would appreciate shares there in addition to the Nextdoor groups around the Niangua Bridge. We continue to consider he may no longer be in the area so all shares everywhere continue to be appreciated. Thank you to all who continue to send us leads and all who continue to watch for him.
