🧠💉 Continuing education never stops, especially when passion meets purpose.

This weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to attend an Allergan Medical Institute cadaver dissection and live model injection training in Chicago, led by Dr. Chris Surek, alongside other talented industry leaders including Dr. James Bazzi, Tatiana Alexeyev APRN, Leslie Forrester APRN, and Jenn Cobbs PA. Their collective expertise brought invaluable insight into facial anatomy, artistry, and safety in aesthetics.

During this program, injectors performed live model injections while Dr. Surek performed simultaneous cadaver dissections, layer by layer. Watching the anatomy revealed in real time, while seeing where product actually lands, was absolutely fascinating and easily one of the best trainings I’ve ever attended.

With my first clinical rotation starting tomorrow, I still chose to spend my Saturday in the lab because growth, understanding, and education are at the heart of everything I do. I believe in practicing what I preach by continually investing in my own education, so I can better educate and empower my patients.

Dr. Surek reminded us that “an educated patient is a dedicated patient,” and that deeply resonates with me. At Bound Beauty & Wellness, I take pride in spending the time to educate every patient so you feel informed, confident, and empowered in your care.

It was also such a joy connecting with previous coworkers & fellow injectors and meeting new colleagues who share the same passion for learning and elevating our field.
