Turkey day is coming. Here's Dr. Danielle's favorite recipe for Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread. Enjoy!
Ingredients
1 ยฝ cups all-purpose flour (plus more for coating chocolate chips)
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
ยผ teaspoon salt
ยฝ teaspoon baking soda
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup pumpkin puree
ยพ cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
ยฝ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ยผ cups semisweet chocolate chips (divided use)

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 ยฐF. Coat an 8โณ ร 4โณ loaf pan with cooking spray and line the bottom with parchment paper. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, pumpkin pie spice, salt, and baking soda. Add the sugar, pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Stir until just combined. Toss 1 cup of the chocolate chips with 1 tablespoon of flour. Stir the chocolate chips into the batter. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle the remaining ยผ cup of chocolate chips over the top.
Bake for 55โ65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let it cool for 10 minutes, then run a thin knife along the sides of the pan to loosen the bread. Allow the bread to cool in the pan, then invert, slice, and serve.
