Thanksgiving reminds us that gratitude often grows in the places where resilience has been tested the most.

This year, we’ve walked alongside men rebuilding their lives after years of struggle, families searching for stability, and communities facing challenges that don’t have easy answers. And yet—every day—we see hope show up in small but powerful ways:
• A man taking a brave step toward sobriety.
• A family settling into a stable home after months of uncertainty.
• A supporter offering generosity at just the right moment.

These moments don’t erase the hard days, but they remind us that transformation is possible, even in seasons marked by obstacles.

As we gather around the table today, we’re grateful for the courage of the individuals and families we serve, the dedication of our staff, and the unwavering support of people like you who believe in brighter futures.

From our Homes of Hope family to yours—Happy Thanksgiving. Thank you for helping hope take root, even in the toughest soil. 🧡

Step into the life-changing journey of a Homes of Hope Men's Workforce Development (MWD) intern! 🛠️🏠

THE FRAMEWORK: It all begins at Gideon's House, their home for 9 transformative months. Here, interns are not just residents—they’re builders, learning hands-on skills like electrical work, cabinetry, and flooring while constructing a real HOPE house.

But MWD is more than just construction. In this phase interns regain driving privileges, resolve DMV issues, attend drug court, and gain financial literacy. They also develop life skills like respect, punctuality, and responsibility, with morning spent in the Word guided by our dedicated staff.

THE FINISH: In the last three months, as graduation nears, the job search begins with support from our community partners. Once employed, interns transition to the annex—learning independence while saving for a car and preparing for their next chapter.

GRADUATION: Finally, graduation day arrives. Each intern steps forward, employed, equipped, and ready to create generational change. It's a powerful cycle of hope and transformation.
