🍳Quick breakfast date at one of our favorite spots in Greenville, NC, before running errands this morning.

Nothing fancy, just one of those simple little moments that makes the day better (especially when it includes fresh avocado and an egg scramble).

Last night, I had the pleasure of facilitating a Make Your Own Mocktail Bar for the Women in Medicine event in partnership with ECU Health.

It was such a joy to connect with everyone and guide them through crafting three wellness-inspired mocktails. A fun and refreshing way to celebrate community and well-being!

The best moments aren’t always the ones we capture in perfect photos, but the ones we share in real time—laughter, connection, and conversations that remind us we’re not alone in this journey.

Finally getting some energy back after the flu, so spent this Sunday making a good breakfast (eggs, sweet potatoes, sausage) and some maple banana bread.

This week’s menu includes burger bowls, salmon, sausage risotto, and wraps—keeping it simple, nourishing, and tasty.

Feeling grateful to be back in the kitchen and starting to feel like myself again! 🌿

This is a love letter to the women in my life and to every woman out there navigating the balance of giving, growing, healing, and thriving. 💜

To the ones who care deeply, who keep showing up, who are learning to prioritize themselves—you inspire me.

Wellness isn’t just about what we eat or how we move. It’s about how we love ourselves, how we allow ourselves to rest, and how we lift each other up.

Keep taking care of YOU. Keep being YOU.

Tag a woman who inspires you, and remind her that her well-being matters, too. 💫

Slowing down is hard—even when you’re sick.

Yesterday, I rescheduled three health coaching sessions. In the past, I would have felt so guilty for inconveniencing my clients. And honestly? I still felt a little of that. But more than anything, I knew that resting now means I can show up fully when I’m better.

So I listened to my body. Drank the tea. Ate the soup. Rescheduled the things. Because rest isn’t a luxury—it’s part of taking care of myself and the people I support.

Today isn’t quite as flexible, but I’m moving slowly, staying hydrated, and only doing what truly has to be done. Because healing doesn’t just happen in the big pauses—it happens in the little choices to care for ourselves, too.

If you need this reminder: Taking care of yourself first isn’t selfish. It’s necessary. 💛
