Our most precious resource ⏳
And the one that is often taken most for granted
The top 5 most common realizations of people on their deathbed are these:
1️⃣ “I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me”
2️⃣ “I wish I hadn’t worked so hard”
3️⃣ “I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings”
4️⃣ “I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends“
5️⃣ “I wish that I had let myself be happier“
Although modern society is set up in a way that makes these regrets seem inevitable, I believe there is another way. A road less traveled perhaps, but a road readily available once we choose to walk it
And it’s not about doing anything different on the outside, but rather making internal changes within
Such as relearning how to slow down your mind, how to listen to your true self, or how to open your heart at all times
This kind of can make every moment feel like a miracle. It opens up space for constant gratitude, joy, fulfillment, abundance, and love in life
These feelings are within us all of the time, but might be muffled by the the noise, distress, and distractions of our times
This is why is so important today. It’s why it continues to call me deeper and deeper into it
I’m dedicated to learning and to teaching alongside other brothers. This lights my fire like nothing else. It fills my cup in a way that allows me to fill the cup of others. To simply be a leader and a friend
If this resonates with you at all, dm me “inner work” and I’d love to connect or collaborate in any way this final quarter of 2025 🤟🏼
