Enabling seniors to remain independent & in their homes: Meals on Wheels, Transportation & More.

We provide Meals on Wheels, Transportation and Congregate Meals thoughout Greenwood, Ninety Six, Promised Land, Ware Shoals, Hodges, Abbeville & Calhoun Falls. We also operate the only Intergenerational Day Care Center in South Carolina -- Lifetime Discoveries Child Care Center. We currently have 120 children enrolled in this state of the art facility, from infant to after school age.

Meet Mr. Claus Groth!

Mr. Groth is one of our dedicated Meals on Wheels volunteers, and we had the pleasure of speaking with him today. What makes his story especially meaningful is that he was once a client of Piedmont Agency on Aging.

Through our services, Mr. Groth received transportation to doctor’s appointments and Meals on Wheels deliveries. During that time, he witnessed firsthand the compassion and commitment of our volunteers—and it left a lasting impression.

Now that he’s back on his feet, Mr. Groth has come full circle. He gives back by delivering meals each week to homebound seniors, helping others in the same way he was once helped.

His story is a powerful reminder: it’s never too late to make a difference.

We are always looking for caring individuals to join our team of volunteers at our Nutrition Center. If you’re interested in giving back to your community, we would love to have you!

We are proud to recognize Ms. Odessa Pyles as our Foster Grandparent of the Month! Ms. Pyles serves at the YMCA in Laurens, where she makes a meaningful impact each and every day.

Staff shared that Ms. Pyles consistently shows up with a positive attitude and strong commitment to her role. She communicates effectively with her teacher and fellow staff, ensuring a supportive and collaborative classroom environment.

In the two-year-old classroom, Ms. Pyles is especially known for being interactive, nurturing, and attentive with the children. Her dependable presence and kind, sweet spirit truly make a difference in the lives of both the children and staff.
