Heather Burnett is a writer, a healthy food blogger, a certified health coach, and an advocate for women and men who want to live life to the fullest. She’s a wife, mother, and former full-time corporate career chick turned wellness enthusiast after winning her battle with depression and struggle with weight.
Just a few years ago, in 2011, Heather suffered from chronic pain, migraines, depression, and weighed over 210 pounds. Her wake-up call came after her son was diagnosed with autism. He needed a strong, confident mom that had the confidence to fight for his needs, so that's what she set out to become.
After years of yo-yo dieting, tons of research, a little soul searching, and a significant shift in her mindset, Heather lost over 90 pounds by following a low carb, ketogenic diet.
Today, Heather’s approach to wellness, weight loss, and healthy living focuses not only on food but on all the areas of life that impact eating habits and weight. There’s more to losing weight than diet and exercise. You can count calories, macros, and workout every day, but if you aren't addressing your struggles in other areas of life like relationships, finances, or your career, you’ll find it challenging to reach your potential.

Don’t let this glamour shot fool you. I was wearing yoga pants when this picture was taken. There’s a 90% chance I’m wearing yoga pants right now—and a 100% chance I’m not on my way to yoga.
I love keto, chocolate, and my kids (not in that order). I can’t stand tight waistbands or narrow-minded people. I live to help others and I won’t end the day without a taste of something sweet.
