At Galliant, we know that building fine motor skills isn’t just important—it can be an exciting and playful part of a child’s day!

Fine motor skills help children:

💜 November is Epilepsy Awareness Month 💜

At Gallaint, we’re committed to supporting the whole individual — and that includes recognizing the important connection between autism and epilepsy.

Research shows that up to one-third of individuals with autism also experience epilepsy. Both conditions involve differences in how the brain processes information and communicates, and understanding this overlap helps us provide safer, more individualized care.

💡 What ABA teams can do:
• Stay informed about the signs of seizures and collaborate closely with caregivers and medical professionals.
• Create behavior plans that account for medical and sensory needs.
• Foster understanding and inclusion for clients with both diagnoses.

This month — and every month — we honor and support those living with epilepsy and autism. 💜💙
