❤️ Counseling Awareness Month Spotlight:
Wyatt, Clinical Director
In honor of Counseling Awareness Month, we’re proud to highlight our Clinical Director, Wyatt, and the passion and purpose he brings to the field of recovery.
Wyatt’s journey into this work is deeply personal. Growing up in a family impacted by mental health challenges and addiction, he witnessed firsthand how misunderstanding and stigma can create distance between people who care about each other. What others labeled as “bad,” he came to understand as individuals who were struggling, misunderstood, and in need of support. These early experiences shaped his perspective and inspired a lifelong passion for psychology. By high school, Wyatt knew he wanted to become a therapist—committed to helping break cycles of stigma and guiding individuals and families toward healing.
What Wyatt finds most meaningful in his work is watching clients grow and succeed. He is passionate about empowering individuals to become their own agents of change—helping them recognize their strengths, build confidence, and take ownership of their recovery journey. Supporting clients as they rediscover hope and create lasting change is what continues to drive his work every day.
When it comes to self-care, Wyatt emphasizes the importance of being intentional with time. He views time as a finite resource—something to be invested wisely. Just as we dedicate time to work and others, he encourages everyone to prioritize even small moments for themselves to maintain balance and prevent burnout. His reminder is simple but powerful: Invest in yourself. You’re worth it.
A quote Wyatt lives by reflects his approach to both life and recovery:
“Stop living as a reaction to consequence, start living as the creator of your own intentions.”
We’re grateful for Wyatt’s leadership, compassion, and commitment to making a lasting impact in the lives of those we serve.
