Why Choose Counseling?
Cornerstone Community Counseling, LLC provides mental health help online as well as consultation services related to the special education needs of the children K through 12. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious, stuck, depressed, or seeking to improve the quality of your relationships, therapy offers ways to resolve inner conflict, strength to live genuinely, and improvement with quality of life.
As a skilled and experienced psychotherapist, I offer support to those who need it providing listening ear to individuals who wish to share their story in a safe and comfortable environment. I have become the trusting figure for many while working together offering individual counseling or marriage and family counseling. As part of the treatment I support you in the decision-making process to help you get back on track or to simply make sense of things.
I approach therapy as a collaboration where we examine your concerns and experiences meaningfully and without judgment. Some of the areas where I can offer you support are when you experience anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, difficulty adjusting to life transitions, relationship problems, parent child conflict, grief/loss, and trauma. I find eclectic approach to the treatment essential combining the talking, homework, humor, and mind-body techniques to help work through difficulties. However, most often I find myself use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy. I use Strength-Based Approach in the treatment process.
I am passionate about my work and welcome the chance to meet you!
