Did you know there's a National Bridge Day?

We didn't either! But since there is, enjoy your drive to work or school or wherever you're headed. It's almost guaranteed in Iowa that if you're traveling more than five miles from your home you drove over a bridge to get to where you're going. We love what we do and we're happy to do it! Stay safe out there!

Lane Hartwig

3 Years with Lane busting his bum for Boulder. Lane is a large part of our concrete flatwork operation. He shows up early and stays late and we appreciate his hard work!

550 YARDS

This pour done in Waterloo by our crew was 8 inches thick. When you have really heavy machinery coming in and out of a business you need that concrete thick.

3 separate pours for this one to keep the water running where it should.

And just like that, it's gone forever.

The Wabash Railroad Bridge is no more. Our team got the rest of the 140 year old metal, railings, and beams hauled out safely. The road we built into the Des Moines River has been pulled out and removed and Walker is taking out the final few buckets of rock to clean up the site. We were happy to help Marion County take down this historic bridge.

Collyn Hoy

Mr. Hoy is new here at Boulder, since July. He's been a great asset and we are happy that he chose Boulder Contracting to continue his career as a great mechanic. He's part of a team that keeps us all moving on a daily basis. We couldn't do any of this without them.

200 Yards in Wellsburg.

Our concrete crew finished off this 200 yard pour on Friday. This is a small part of a very large job we've been working on. Working local to our area is always a great thing for our crews and our clients alike. Shop local means more than just retail.
