We were thrilled to welcome Jackie Lee from Mississippi Petal Company for a truly inspiring and educational presentation on Dahlia flowers. She also shared her personal journey into flower farming, including the challenges and joys of building her business from the ground up. In addition to dahlias, Jackie grows her own filler flowers for bouquets, creating beautiful, locally grown arrangements from start to finish.

Residents were able to see and touch different dahlia varieties and learn firsthand what goes into growing these gorgeous blooms. As a special treat, everyone who attended went home with a fresh bouquet—a perfect way to brighten the day!
