Congratulations to our newest Life Member, Daniel Oliveira! D. Oliveira joined LVARS at 16 years old and quickly became an irreplaceable member. He is currently the 2nd lieutenant and Crew Chief of Thursday Night. He has numerous accomplishments, most notable being his CPR save in ‘23. Oliveira has taken over 1,000 calls, trained every member of our organization, and has become the person you call at 3am when you have a question or need a second ambulance on scene. We are so proud to have Danny as our life member! 🚑💙

Hi! My name is Abigail, and I’m an EMT at LVARS. I’ve been volunteering here since August 2024 and ride on Friday nights! I’ve learned so much in my time here and I’m so grateful for the little family I’ve formed. Being a part of LVARS has showed me what it really means to be a part of my community, and I couldn’t ask for more. I’m excited to see what the future brings and to keep learning alongside my amazing crew! 🩷

Hello, my name is Isabela and I am an EMT at LVARS. I am a junior at Rutgers majoring in biology, minoring in music. I started volunteering in August 2024 and ride on Saturday nights. I have learned and seen so much volunteering here and I am truly so grateful for the experience. My life has changed so much because of this place both professionally and personally. I’ve formed bonds that I can hopefully keep for a lifetime and gained so many skills that are shaping my future. I’ve had so much fun learning about Lodi and learning how to take care of my community. I can’t wait to see what the future brings and to experience it with my newfound family.

We’re honored that we get to spend some time with Lodi’s junior police academy every year! We gave them a tour of our ambulance, showed them basic CPR, how to take a blood pressure, splint, and stop a bleed! Maybe in a few years we’ll see some familiar faces applying 🫶🏼🚑🚨
