The World Health Organization (WHO)'s 2025 World Malaria Report shows that global targets are off track, but adaptive, data-driven vector control is helping to shift the trajectory. Through the Bioko Island Malaria Elimination Project in Equatorial Guinea, MCD is optimizing indoor residual spraying and reinvesting in complementary interventions, driving malaria prevalence to its lowest level in over a decade.
