During harvesting season, I just love the feel of my bare feet on the grass and dirt ... the intimacy with nature, the birds serenading me as I pick dandelions. It reminds me of the need to
Get Back to the Basics.
Again and again after 25 years in the health field, I always come back to the basics. It's a simple philosophy.
So many people reach out asking about the latest fad — the newest supplement, the quickest fix, the trending protocol.
And what I’ve seen time and time again is this:
Fads come and go… and so do their results.
But what stands the test of time is learning how to steward your health consistently.
Your body is not a problem to fix.
It is a temple. A gift.
And it follows a natural, intelligent rhythm.
When we honor that rhythm, healing becomes sustainable.
I always come back to the basics:
1. Eat natural, whole, unprocessed food
2. Move your body daily
3. Drink clean water for hydration
(a pinch of Celtic sea salt adds minerals and supports cellular absorption)
4. Stay grateful and forgiving
5. Use herbs over isolated chemistry
6. Get morning sun
7. Stay in prayer
8. Zoom out and be patient — there are no quick fixes
This isn’t complicated… but it does require consistency.
When you align your daily habits with how the body was designed to function,
you don’t have to chase healing — you begin to *live it*.
And that, to me, is the real work.
Let's get you back to the basics!
