Big shoutout to Maria for crushing her first weightlifting meet!

She went 8/9 on the platform, just missing her last clean and jerk on a press out—but showed the poise and grit of a seasoned competitor from start to finish.

Maria balances it all: nursing school, working on a farm, and still showing up to the gym with unmatched positivity and drive. Her dedication to the sport and her energy in the gym inspire everyone around her.

We’re incredibly proud of you, Maria, and can’t wait to see where this journey takes you next. This is just the beginning!
