Case of the Sunday Scaries? Maybeeee make yourself a cup of tea (I’m enjoying mine in my Grow Baby Grow mug from ) and try this & let me know how you feel! One exercise I give my clients (and use myself) is checking in with how I feel before engaging in breath work, movement or meditation. Using a scale can be helpful, for example, “On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most stressed/anxious/uncomfortable I am a 7, after engaging in said exercise I am a 3.” This shift helps to remind us that this is always available to us 💫 🙏🏻🤍

I couldn’t let World Mental Health Day pass without sharing a few thoughts from your friendly neighborhood therapist! 💚

Here are some important reminders I wish everyone knew:

1. Our connections heal us—surround yourself with people who uplift and inspire you.
2. We can’t control others’ thoughts, feelings, or actions, but we can control our responses.
3. It’s possible to create new neural pathways and develop healthier thinking habits.
4. We are all more alike than we realize.
5. The only person coming to save you is you.
6. Focus on the good, and the good will multiply.
7. Rest is productive.
8. Move your body.
9. Care for yourself like you do for others.
10. Drink your water.
