Our team honored their “Special Person” for Wear the Memory Day — a tradition filled with love, stories, and connection.
Our staff wore clothing that belonged to their loved one, items repurposed from something meaningful, or something that simply reminded them of the person who shaped their hearts.
Because grief doesn’t just touch the children we serve…
It touches us too.
And standing in our memories, we remember why this work matters so deeply.
🦋 A father’s shirt that still carries his cologne.
🧵 A blanket repurposed into a scarf.
💍 A favorite color worn to honor a grandmother.
🎶 A band tee from a sibling gone too soon.
Each item told a story.
Each memory held love.
And each act reminded us that every child who walks through our doors is surrounded by people who understand loss — and who walk beside them with compassion.
As we continue toward Giving Tuesday, we carry our special people with us…
and we honor every child who is carrying someone too.
