Update ✨ We got some good news today 🥹 Our last appointment back in October, we were told she might need hip surgery in the future because it was looking dislocated on X-rays . But today X-rays showed that everything is where it needs to be 🙌 Celina will be having a MRI in the next few weeks to get a better picture of her femur / pelvic and we will be waiting to get a call about fitting her in a foot bearing prosthetic. I’m soo excited for my babygirl , today’s visit definitely went very well 🥹💗

At 18 weeks pregnant, during her anatomy scan, I learned that my daughter had a difference in her femur length. In that moment, everything changed. There were a lot of questions, and emotions, but also so much love from the very start.
This page is to share her journey from the beginning, our learning, our growth, and her strength every step of the way. 💗 Here are some of her X-rays she’s had from 5 days old to 7 months , her left leg sort of starts at her knee. She has yet to start crawling but with her therapy 3x a month she has started to pull/ drag herself and I know soon that she will start crawling ❤️😂 that’s the next goal with her therapy ! 🥰

This page is all about Celina’s limb difference journey. Celina is our little warrior, and we want to share her milestones, victories, challenges, and everyday moments as she grows and learns to walk, explore, and shine.

We hope this page can also be a place of awareness, inspiration, and connection for other families who may be on a similar journey. Every step she takes is a reminder that she is different, but never less.
