In 2020, we completed this Five Below storefront. The project was completed in the middle of winter during single digit temperatures. The height of the work and the enclosure necessary to complete the project added a level of difficulty. Along with the cornice shape, detail bands, variation in thickness in the field of the wall and the four different colors, this was far from your typical project.

It wasn't anything American Stucco couldn't handle. We have extensive experience working in cold temperatures. While our entire crew would tell you they prefer working in warmer temps, we don't shy away from setting up enclosures to get the job done.

As we approach the middle of our warm season, now is the time to begin making careful decisions for your upcoming projects. If your current pre-con schedules have EIFS or Stucco going during cold temps, American Stucco should be at the top of your list of potential subs to consider.

Earlier this year, we completed the brand new Prime Steakhouse project in Morris, Minnesota.

Faced with severe damaging weather and the usual difficulties of working out of town, American Stucco and it's employees were able to finish the project on time and with a fantastic finished appearance.

In order to provide more value for the owner and the contractor, American Stucco also supplied and installed the liquid applied moisture barrier on the parts of the building where other exterior claddings were installed by others. By having a uniform moisture barrier on the building, the resistance to incidental moisture intrusion is far greater than having multiple different barriers working together. This also eliminates compatibility concerns and allows the other exterior trades to show up and start their work right away.

Venetian plasters are a great way to elevate the finished appearance of a room or commons area. American Stucco recently completed this large scale polished venetian plaster project at the new Wright County Courthouse and Government Center. Over 30,000 sqare feet of material was installed between the two buildings! The multiple coats of material give the appearance of depth in texture; however, after the finish coats are applied, the wall is waxed to give it a finished texture thats as smooth as glass to the touch.

Whether its in your home or business, Venetian plaster is a beautiful finish to add a sense of elegance and luxury to any space.

The new entrance for the Becker Furniture World in Blaine turned out great! We also supplied and installed moisture barrier across the entire entrance buildout. The work was completed in one week but American Stucco was happy to leave our scaffolding and enclosure up for the masons to do their work in a heated environment.

Finding quality sub-contractors who are willing to add value is difficult. Building relationships and helping contractors optimize the process of construction are building blocks to success. The Arby's off of C**n Rapids Blvd was in dire need of a serious facelift. We were happy to install a brand new EIFS system on the exterior of the building with a few key brand details common for Arby's new buildings. V-groove joints spaced both at 4 and 8 inches apart made for a challenging project. In addition to the groove pattern, the entry tower utilized a Sto Brick 10 finish. Although time consuming with the amount of layout, this finish mimics the appearance of brick but with less than one tenth the weight and at a fraction of the cost of real brick!

With a condensed and strict timeline, American Stucco's crew was able to pull off this detailed project in just 10 days!

The HyVee in Robbinsdale turned out great. This project had three very similar but different sized cornice shapes that made installing them quite a puzzle. It required a lot of layout, planning and organization but it's nothing the American Stucco team couldn't handle.

The portal for the new Five Below and Petco stores in Rochester were completed ahead of schedule. Even with the need for enclosing one of the entrances due to challenging weather, we were able to make up lost time on the back end to come through for our contractor.

American Stucco was happy to have worked on the new Aspen Dental in Bloomington. The tight schedule and weather proved to be a challenge but we completed our work on time and the client was able to open after suffering several weather delays.

Completed November 15th.

The new Raising Cane's store in C**n Rapids is now open! We're happy to have worked on Cane's 8th location in Minnesota and we look forward to working on their future projects.
