your body was designed to need, want, and utilize sugar.

your body was not designed for intentional starvation.

doesn’t mean it can’t cope with it, the human body is insanely adaptable for your survival (doesn’t mean there aren’t severe side effects).

don’t believe me….?

🤔if dieting wasn’t harmful, then how come over a third of all dieters develop disordered eating?

😬 if dieting improves peoples lives, then how come most every dieter experiences “falling off the wagon” feeling hopeless and helpless they can’t abstain from dessert? not to mention the increased sense of failure and anxiety?

🤭 if dieting worked, then how come there are hundreds of diets all claiming to be “the one” yet more and more people are struggling with weight cycling?

🤯 if dieting respected autonomy and diversity, then it would be quicker to listen + learn rather than spat off euro-centric, restrictive rules??

just saying.

sugar isn’t the enemy. diet culture is.
