Hero’s Journey
(RPG-Guided Personal Growth for Teens & Adults)
Hero’s Journey is a small, guided group experience that uses storytelling and role-playing to support reflection, confidence, and personal growth in teens and adults.
Through collaborative story creation and gentle discussion, participants explore themes like decision-making, identity, resilience, communication, and group dynamics in a way that feels engaging rather than instructional. While the structure is inspired by tabletop role-playing games, this is not a traditional D&D game and does not focus on combat or competition.
Each session includes guided conversation before, during, and after the story, helping teens reflect on choices, emotions, and themes that naturally arise — and how those experiences connect to real life.
No prior RPG experience is required — just curiosity, imagination, and a willingness to engage with the group and story.

Open to teens (16+) and adults interested in storytelling, creativity, and meaningful group experiences. Groups may include mixed ages, and content is designed to be respectful, thoughtful, and age-appropriate.
About the Facilitator:
Jesse Harkins is an educator and graduate student in clinical psychology whose work sits at the intersection of imagination, psychology, and collaborative storytelling.
Drawing inspiration from Jungian psychology and active imagination, Jesse facilitates guided role-playing experiences that invite participants into story as a way to reflect, explore meaning, and build awareness. His approach emphasizes curiosity, presence, and integration, allowing stories to unfold naturally while remaining grounded, accessible, and developmentally appropriate.
