💛 𝑲𝒆𝒆𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝑶𝒏𝒆𝒔 𝑪𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒆 💛

At Holt Memorial Chapel, one of the first things we do when a loved one comes into our care is gently take their fingerprints digitally. These prints can be used to create 𝙇𝒆𝙜𝒂𝙘𝒚 𝑻𝙤𝒖𝙘𝒉 keepsakes — beautifully crafted jewelry and mementos engraved with your loved one’s unique fingerprint.

𝙇𝒆𝙜𝒂𝙘𝒚 𝑻𝙤𝒖𝙘𝒉, based in Kansas City, is nationally recognized for their quality and care, creating meaningful pieces that families treasure for a lifetime.

On our website, you’ll find the Legacy Touch link near the top of each obituary page — on the 𝙡𝙚𝙛𝙩-𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙗𝙤𝙭 — where you can view and order personalized keepsakes directly.

With Christmas approaching, these pieces make a heartfelt and lasting way to keep those you love close to heart.

💛 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐞

Even when a family chooses 𝒅𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 with no service or viewing, the level of care can vary greatly.

Low-cost providers may advertise a smaller price, but families often find limited communication, unexpected fees, and very little personal guidance.

With a full-service funeral home, you receive:
𒀭Compassionate, immediate care

𒀭Licensed professionals handling every detail

𒀭Clear, honest pricing

𒀭Guidance through every step

While the advertised price might appear lower, 𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒇𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒄𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒊𝒔𝒏’𝒕 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒅𝒊𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕 — 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒗𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒆, 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆.

We hate to see families sacrifice peace of mind at such an important moment.

Five years ago today, on December 18, 2020, the legacy of Holt Memorial Chapel was entrusted to new hands. On that day, 𝑫𝒓. 𝑲𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑷𝒂𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒌 𝑹𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒏 and 𝑫𝒓. 𝑲𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒚 𝑹𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒏 𝑾𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒖𝒄𝒌 — great-grandchildren of our founder, L. C. Holt — handed the keys of the business to 𝙅𝙤𝙝𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙅𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙞𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙥 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙚.

Since that day, our team has been humbled to continue the Tradition of Excellence that began more than a century ago. Holt Memorial Chapel has proudly served our neighbors since 𝟏𝟗𝟐𝟒, when Luther Clay “L. C.” Holt purchased the R. D. Cline Furniture and Undertaking Company. What started in the heart of Harrison has become a ministry of care that now serves Boone, Newton, Searcy, and Carroll Counties in Arkansas, and Taney County, Missouri.

Through the decades, the Holt, Ragan, Conner, and Collie families have each built upon that foundation of service. From L. C.’s creation of the Boone County Burial Association during the Great Depression, to 𝙂𝒆𝙣𝒆𝙫𝒊𝙚𝒗𝙚 𝙃𝒐𝙡𝒕 𝑹𝙖𝒈𝙖𝒏’𝒔 historic work as one of Arkansas’s first female embalmers, to 𝙋𝒂𝙩𝒓𝙞𝒄𝙠 𝙖𝒏𝙙 𝙂𝒍𝙚𝒏𝙣𝒂 𝑱𝙤𝒏𝙚𝒔 𝑹𝙖𝒈𝙖𝒏’𝒔 faithful leadership for more than three decades — each generation has strengthened the legacy.

Upon her retirement in 2020, 𝙈𝙧𝙨. 𝙂𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙣𝙖 𝙍𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙣 graciously passed the torch, and we remain grateful that she continues to serve as an Ambassador for Holt Memorial Chapel. Under her direction, Holt became the first funeral home in Arkansas to receive the National Funeral Directors Association’s Pursuit of Excellence Award.

With more than 70 years of combined experience, the C𝐨n𝐧e𝐫 𝐚n𝐝 𝐂o𝐥l𝐢e f𝐚m𝐢l𝐢e𝐬 continue to honor the past while serving today’s families with compassion, integrity, and professionalism. Since 2020, we’ve renovated and refreshed our facility, ensuring it reflects the warmth and care that define our service.

We are deeply thankful for the trust of our community — and proud to have been voted 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.

There truly is a difference in funeral homes. At 𝙃𝒐𝙡𝒕 𝑴𝙚𝒎𝙤𝒓𝙞𝒂𝙡 𝘾𝒉𝙖𝒑𝙚𝒍, that difference is found in the people who serve, the history we honor, and the care we extend to every family, every time.
