Here's a problem.. food manufacturers have dumbed down our food, they have cut the quality, cut costs by using cheaper ingredients and use chemicals to keep up mass production.... Lowering our standards for buying food, this has become the norm we are used to. So now when we see the price on farm raised, organic food ( the way food use to be ) we think we pay to much.. No it is the real price for the original quality...

I had just learned about how teaching or being taught to eat everything on your plate, where it is waste is actually from the spirit of poverty... Living under that spirit will keep you overeating even if you don't really want to.. Break free by giving yourself permission to leave some food on your plate and know its ok!! Break the chains and live in freedom ❤ I am sure the spirit of gluttony and the spirit of poverty like to ride on the same buss!!!!

Strange thing is, when I eat what I want to eat without pressure, I find I eat less.. I eat until i am satisfied...
But when I eat what I'm told to eat (being health conscious) I still seem to over eat due to eating under obligation instead of enjoyment.
So with this all said, eat to enjoy your food without the guilt while adding in a little "healthy" to your already "yummy" ❤ win win!

I need to love what I do, more than food its self.

Thinking back as a kid my mom had to call me in from the outside and Then I only stayed as long as I had to. If I had time to play with my food, that says something. Because now I seem to scarf so fast there's no time to play with my food! I loved playing outside... Balance needed.

Only eat when you are really hungry. Before you eat ask yourself if you are wanting to eat out of habit or hunger. Its amazing to see how many times I want to eat out of routine then actual hunger. These unhealthy patterns can cause us to over eat.

Don't forget its not only our jobs to raise our kids up but its also our jobs to spend time with them, Blessing them and making memories with them. Those things they will remember :)

This series is about things you can do or changes you can make to feel a difference.., this is one of them! Turn your Grab & Go kitchen into a place your family will appreciate :)
Since I have added candlelight to our meals its created a space to feel good, appreciated and valued. I now take pride in cooking my families meals and my husband can look forward to coming home to a meal surrounded by love and my kids can be in an atmosphere where it makes them feel important. I Love it!
Our meal times use to be operate in survival mode! And now I can see where it brought love, appreciation and value to the table... Its worth trying! Happy eating :)
P.S... Everything looks better in candlelight!
