If you needed another reason to include more garlic and onion in your regular diet, here it is. A recent study from Asia found that people eating just 11 grams daily of allium vegetables had an impressive 44% less risk of liver cancer. But those with a history of liver disease saw a stunning 76% risk reduction at the same dosage. The allium family of vegetables includes , , chives, green onion, leeks and shallots.
