NU Era is a collective of five creative, forward-thinking students working for a real client to gain experience planning a public relations campaign while completing their capstone. He is from Pascagoula, Miss., and he is 23 years old. He plans on furthering career as an Event Planner/Graphic Designer in the medical field. Eryka Wallace is a senior public relations major at The University of Southern Mississippi. Upon graduation, she plans to begin working for a major corporation as a public relations specialist. Whitney Weathersby is a senior Public Relations major and English minor at the University of Southern Mississippi. She is from a military family but she calls Magee, MS home. After graduating in December, she plans on finding a job within a PR firm being a public relations specialist. Shanning Newell is a senior public relations major from Richton, Mississippi. Her strengths lie in photography, video and editing. After graduation she hopes to put these skills to use by pursuing a career in the entertainment industry.
