At 16, I took a leap into the unknown and left home. It was that step, however scary, that planted the seeds of my strength. I don’t share this story often, but today I celebrate it…not for me, but for anyone who needs to hear that no circumstance defines your future. We rise when we claim our power. If my journey sparks even a flicker of belief in you, then we rise together.

Tyler Valencia, Ph.D.(c), is the CEO and Founder of KIPS . While working for the National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association (NESTA), an online fitness education company, he launched his first business, Time 2 Train Fitness, specializing in boot camp and personal training. Time 2 Train Fitness received the distinction of 3X Best Bootcamp and 2X Best Personal Trainer with the Long Beach Press-Telegram. Before founding KIPS, Tyler was the Vice President of the National Council for Certified Personal Trainers (NCCPT) and Smart Fitness.
