Our subacute wing – dedicated to offering the best post-hospitalization care for individuals who need joint replacement recovery, cardiac rehab, pulmonary rehabilitation, neurological, and other acute medical care services – features private and semi-private suites, physiatry-driven rehab programming, state-of-the-art equipment, and daily therapy. Our rehab program is recognized for successfully reducing hospital readmissions and restoring physical function to individuals recovering from surgery or illness.

The students spent the day doing hand and face painting with our residents and it was such a fun experience for everyone involved. It was a wonderful opportunity for both the students and residents to connect, share smiles, and create lasting memories together.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School for welcoming us so warmly and giving our residents the unforgettable opportunity to be crowned Homecoming King & Queen!

The energy and the kindness were truly incredible. Our residents had the time of their lives and couldn't stop smiling!

A special shoutout as well to Caring Choice Transport of Peabody, MA for helping make it all possible by getting our residents to and from the game safely, warm and comfortably.

It was a day full of joy, community, and connection. one we’ll cherish for a long time!

Celebrating at Aspen Hill!

We invite you to read the short-term rehabilitation experience of Hermance Merritt, who states, “Aspen Hill is a wonderful place. Everyone here treated me so well, and I don’t have a single complaint. The therapy team was great — they worked with me every day on my walking and other exercises to help me get strong enough to go home. My favorite was walking and using the arm bike. The staff were all so kind and helpful. They really made me feel cared for during my stay.”
