Brushing from the top down can put unnecessary stress on your hair and may lead to more breakage over time.
Try this instead:
• apply a split end mender or leave-in first
• start at the ends
• gently work your way up
small change… big difference in how your hair feels ✨
and helps support smoother, healthier-looking ends over time

Tired of fighting a shower cap to fit all your hair in it? Protect your hair with a satin lined shower cap!

Hair clips aren’t evil....but using them every single day can secretly cause breakage and weaken your strands
Use clips occasionally
And switch to gentle silk or satin ties most days to keep your hair healthy and reduce breakage

There’s a saying: “There’s no crying in baseball.” ⚾️

Well… it was my 3 year old son’s first tee ball game, and let’s just say that saying was about to be tested.

We were a little late. Not that late.

But late enough that when it was time to run onto the field… he froze.

Cue the encouragement. The negotiations.
Then I remembered—he loves riding on my back.
“Want a ride?” I asked.

Up he went, and I carried him onto the field while the teams warmed up and parents watched from the stands.

I quickly walked away thinking nailed it.
Nope.

He ran straight back to me.
The meltdown was brewing.

I thought maybe he’s too young for this and in a moment of panic I said, “Do you want to play or go home?”
Immediately regretted even putting quitting on the table.

Just then my friend walked by and asked him, “You gonna play?”
He was still unsure. So I took his hand and said,
“Come on, let’s walk.”

We started toward the field entrance…
and somewhere along that short walk, it became his decision.

He turned and ran onto the field.
Turns out… sometimes the bravest thing in baseball isn’t hitting the ball.

It’s deciding to step onto the field. ⚾️
