That was just one reaction from the launch of Garden Talk & Taste at Ensล Village, a new seasonal series that invites residents to experience the deeper story behind the food on their plate.
A collaboration between Chef Anthony and Kitchen Garden Manager Aris, this experience offers beautifully prepared small bites using ingredients grown on campus. From Hakurei turnips to Sweet Alyssum tea, each ingredient was celebrated for its flavor, nutritional power, and story as Chef Anthony shared the inspiration and preparation process while Aris offered insight into how and why each plant is grown, highlighting the care, ecology, and purpose behind every ingredient.
This series reflects a broader commitment at Ensล Village to cultivate a food culture grounded in transparency, intention, and connection โ to the land, the community, and the deeper meaning of nourishment.
