We don’t get upset just because something happens.
We get upset because we believe someone intended it.
When there’s no one to blame, there’s nothing to attach your anger to.

Most of the time, we’re reacting to people like they’re full boats:
“They disrespected me.”
“They ignored me on purpose. “
“They should’ve known better”,
but what if…
They are acting from their own wounds
Their nervous system was dysregulated.
They weren’t even thinking about you.

In that moment, they’re an empty boat, Just moving from their own current.

Nothing is personal.
