Well.....It's official. The Kentucky Rural Health Association was recently awarded grant money from Gilead to support the US-HAMP (the US- Hepatitis Academic Mentorship Program).

What does all this mean? Our KHAMP Program has been a huge success. We have trained over 400 primary care health providers in rural areas to treat HCV just in Kentucky! Over 1800 consults and patients started on treatment---- most of this happening during a pandemic!!

That's over one person a day treated for HCV in Kentucky since KHAMP's first training in August 2018.

So what is US- HAMP? Well, we have expanded the KHAMP model to West Virginia (WV-HAMP). Over the past year, we have consulted with 21additional states on how they... too.... can use the KHAMP model and treat citizens in their communities.
Stay tuned, come follow us and see all the exciting things we achieve in communities across the country
