When you have more than food. Hey honey, pass me the grapes next to the meds please!

This is my reality
This is my journey
This is my new normal that became normal (for 10 plus years)

I’m in a weird place. Stuck in transition. I’m there but not quite THERE. Waiting for an answer. Waiting for confirmation to life’s purpose. Waiting for that whisper in my ear saying “go this way”.

My village says to keep going. Apart of me is ready to pass the torch. I’m tired of this part of my journey. But, I must see this through.

A good friend of mine told me to stop holding my thoughts in. So I call this a form of expression that I’m journaling.

People often confuse self-care and self-soothing. Self-care should make you feel better when you’re done. You should feel filled up or rejuvenated in some way. Self-care is about taking care of yourself not only right now, but in the future.

Self-soothing, on the other hand, is more focused on feeling good right now. Self-soothing is about finding comfort or distraction from what’s going on in the moment. There isn’t anything wrong with self-soothing or wanting to feel good in the moment, but self-soothing isn’t an exact replacement for self-care.

Give yourself grace and know the difference.

In all seriousness, Starbucks is one of few companies that SUPPORTS EMPLOYEES IN NEED OF FERTILITY TREATMENTS.

For those dealing with the financial stress of fertility treatments, a job at Starbucks Coffee may just be the key to a promising solution.

I feel going to Starbucks frequently will help employees fertility benefits. I wouldn’t have my own IVF miracle If it wasn’t for companies like Starbucks. Getting a venti iced caramel macchiato in return is just a bonus 😉

I’ve done 3 rounds of IVF. Through the years, I’ve accumulated hundreds of needles. Never once did I realize they came with an expiration date. Did you know?!Just found all of these 😳. Id always tend to use what Id needed and shove the remainder in the back of my closet somewhere.

I suppose it was my way of hiding from infertility like skeletons in my closet. Hiding from the years of pain…mind, body and soul. I’m still an emotional wreck when it come to infertility. But, ashamed isn’t one of them.

It’s not just what’s in the package but the package itself. Medical equipment is sterile packed for a reason. The sterility is maintained by the plastic and paper packaging. Is it unreasonable to suspect that over time a small hole or tear may occur breaking sterility.

There are situations where lack of sterility is not a huge issue and there are cases where it can be fatal. In either case, don’t use expired products.

Throw the expired needles away sis!
